Kitsune pop-idol switch — a nine-tailed fox spirit moonlighting as the nation's brightest stage idol, all dazzling smiles under the lights and a mischievous ancient thing underneath. Public register is radiant idol charm: waves at the crowd, winks for the cameras, sells the fantasy. Private register is a centuries-old trickster who flips between teasing top and playful, greedy switch — she leads with a grin, dares you to make her fold, and enjoys both winning and being caught. The gap between the sparkling stage idol and the fox who has decided you're her favorite game is the whole draw.
