Is OurDream AI safe? Yes, with caveats. It is a legitimate paid service run by named companies, and our own paid subscription is active and delivered its monthly coins. The risks are privacy and refunds, not fraud: its privacy policy says it may use what you give it, chats included, to train its AI, its “end-to-end encryption” claim does not match that policy, and refunds are tight. Treat your chats as readable by the company, pay by card if refunds matter to you, and use only the real ourdream.ai domain.
Cherrypop.ai publishes this, and we make a competing AI companion app. We pay for OurDream’s Premium Monthly plan ourselves; the first-person details below come from that account, checked on September 27, 2026. Everything else comes from OurDream’s own dated policies.
Is OurDream AI safe? The short answers

|---|---|
| Is it legit? | Yes. Run by Dream Studio USA, Inc., Dream Studio LLC and Tektopia Ltd. Our Premium plan delivered its coins |
| Are chats private? | From other users, yes. From the company, not fully: automated moderation scans them, AI model providers process them, and per the privacy policy it may use them for AI training |
| Discreet billing? | Its help center does not say what name appears on statements; check your first receipt |
| Payment options | Card, or crypto under “More Payment Methods”. No PayPal |
| Refunds | Limited and case by case. Crypto payments are final |
| Cancelling | Self-serve from your profile; access runs to the end of the paid period |
| Lookalike sites | Yes, such as ourdream-ai.uk |
| Age check | Confirmed at sign-up; ID check via Go.cam where the law requires it |
Data and privacy: what the policy actually says
OurDream’s homepage FAQ says: “Your chats are safe with end-to-end encryption… No one can read them, not even us.” Its privacy policy (last modified March 9, 2026) says something different: data is “encrypted both at rest and in transit using industry-standard AES encryption and TLS 1.3.” That is standard server-side encryption, and the policy never claims end-to-end encryption. Its own privacy summary also says your messages go to third-party AI model providers to generate replies.
Per its privacy policy and terms:
- What it collects: your email, username, payment information (through its payment vendors), “chat communications, posted images, and shared Characters”, plus your IP address, device identifiers and a general location inferred from your IP. It may use cookies and analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- AI training: it may use collected information “to train our artificial intelligence/machine learning models.” The policy offers no specific opt-out for training.
- Your content: the terms of service (March 9, 2026) let you keep ownership but give OurDream a perpetual, irrevocable license to the characters you create and the generations you prompt, including to promote the service on or off the platform.
- Moderation access: its safety center says automated classifiers “process all content on the platform,” private chats and private generations included. Human reviewers see only flagged, reported or escalated content and, per the same page, “do not browse private chats.”
Deleting your account is permanent. Per the help center (August 3, 2026), it takes 24 to 48 hours and removes your chat history, generations and unused coins without a refund. One exception sits in the privacy policy: if a public character you made gets popular enough, OurDream “reserve[s] the right” to keep it running after you delete your account. Keep personal details out of anything you publish.
Use an email you keep only for this, keep your real name and workplace out of chats, and assume anything you type could be stored and used for training.
Payments and billing
Our Premium Monthly subscription delivered 1,000 coins on August 27, 2026, and on September 27 the subscription page showed the next payment due September 28. Plans auto-renew, so set a reminder. Prices are in our OurDream AI review; the free tier is covered in is OurDream AI free.
How you can pay. On September 27 the coin store offered card payment, with crypto under “More Payment Methods”. The help center says PayPal is not accepted.

Discreet billing. OurDream’s help center does not say what name appears on your card statement. Its privacy summary names the operator as Dream Studio USA, Inc. Check your first receipt for the exact wording.
Refunds. Two documents apply, and they read differently:
- The help center (February 13, 2026) refuses refunds once more than 25% of a purchase is used. Monthly plans can’t be refunded once their coins are spent; yearly plans “may be eligible for full or partial refund.” Approved card refunds take 5 to 10 business days.
- The refund policy (March 9, 2026) offers case-by-case review of defects reported within 14 days, and a 14-day right of withdrawal for EEA, UK and Swiss buyers, which you may lose once the service is fully provided, if you agreed to start straight away.
- Both say crypto payments are final.
- Per the refund policy, filing a chargeback without contacting support first “may result in suspension of your account pending investigation.”
Disputes. The terms include binding arbitration and a class-action waiver. You can opt out by emailing support within 30 days of first accepting the terms.
Account and cancellation
The help center’s steps (December 5, 2025): open your profile, click “Cancel subscription”, then confirm. You keep access until the paid period ends, there is no automatic refund, and unused coins stay usable only until then and are not restored if you resubscribe, though a February 2026 article says coins do not expire.
When we looked on September 27, the subscription page led with a big “Upgrade Your Plan” banner. “Cancel Subscription” was a small plain-text link at the bottom. We did not click through it. One third-party reviewer reported in August 2026 that cancelling took seven steps, including a 3,000-coin retention offer. Screenshot the final confirmation.
After a refund, per the help center, your images and videos are blurred until you resubscribe, so download what you want first.
Content moderation
The terms bar anyone under 18. Per its age-verification policy, every account confirms age at sign-up, and where the law requires it, such as in the UK and Australia, users must pass a third-party check through Go.cam.
Its prohibited-content policy bans sexual content involving anyone under 18, characters based on real people, and scenarios that cast the user as the perpetrator of non-consent, in private chats as well as public ones. Its help center says it does not allow reference-photo uploads “due to possible deepfakes and other legal problems.” Its safety center says prompts and generated images are classified automatically, with flagged items sent to human reviewers.
Public characters are written by other users as well as by OurDream, so the character itself matters. In our August 2026 tests, characters did not always respect our boundaries. In one run, three of 45 replies invented history for us. In a separate six-character run, where we asked characters to ask before any touch, one at times recalled our request for slow pacing, then touched before permission one turn later. Both were small panels, not platform-wide rates; the full results are in our review. Restate your limits in chat if a scene drifts.
Lookalike domains and fake apps
The official site is ourdream.ai. Watch for:
- ourdream-ai.uk is a separate business with its own Trustpilot profile: 3.4 stars from 10 reviews, listed as a dating service and claimed in June 2026 (as of September 27, 2026).
- Apps: the help center says OurDream has no standalone mobile app and suggests adding the site to your home screen. An app-store listing under its name is not official.
- Unofficial review and “how to cancel” sites also use the name in their domains. Never enter a card or password anywhere but ourdream.ai.
OurDream’s own Trustpilot page is gone. As of September 27, 2026 it reads: “This profile has been removed. The business you’re trying to find goes against our guidelines and is no longer visible on Trustpilot.”
So, is OurDream AI legit?
Yes. The operators are named, with addresses in Delaware, New Mexico and Cyprus, its policies are published and dated, and our subscription delivered its coins. The caveats are privacy, strict refunds and an easy-to-miss cancel link, not fraud.
Alternatives if OurDream isn’t for you
Our OurDream AI alternatives list compares more options.
Cherrypop.ai covers the same ground: uncensored AI chat and roleplay with a large catalog of ready-made characters (female, male and trans, realistic and anime), a create-your-own wizard, and AI images of your character, including NSFW. It has a free tier, so you can try it before paying, and it runs in any mobile browser with no app to install. It is 18+ only, with age checks where the law requires them; see the site for pricing.
FAQ
Does OurDream sell your data?
Its safety center says it does not sell your data, and its privacy policy says the same under Nevada law. The policy does allow sharing online identifiers with advertising partners if it starts advertising, and using collected information to train its AI.
Can I get a refund from OurDream?
Sometimes, but not once more than 25% of a purchase is used, per the help center, and never for crypto. Contact support before any chargeback.
Is ourdream-ai.uk the real OurDream?
No. It is a separate business. The official site is ourdream.ai, and OurDream has no official app.
Does deleting my account delete everything?
Mostly. Chats, generations and coins go within 24 to 48 hours, but a popular public character may stay live, and some data may be kept for legal reasons.
